What you need: 2 cups carrots cut into slices 2 cups bell pepper cut into 1" pieces 2-3 chicken breasts 3 cloves garlic 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 8 oz orange juice concentrate What to do: Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized freezer bag. Seal bag and place in freezer. When ready to use thaw in fridge overnight. Empty contents into crock pot. Cook on low 6-7 hours. Serve over rice. Beef Daube Provencal What you need 2 lbs chuck roast or stew beef cubes 3 carrots cut in small pieces 2 stalks of celery diced 1 onion diced 6 cloves garlic diced 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes 2 Tablespoons tomato paste 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves 1/2 teaspoon rosemary 1 bay leaf Add later: 1/2 cup beef broth, 1 cup red wine, 1 tsp vinegar What to do Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized freezer bag. Seal bag and place in freezer. When ready to use thaw in fridge overnight. Empty contents into crock-pot. Add wine, broth and vinegar. Cook on low 6-7 hours. Serve over mashed potatoes.
