Slow Cooker Creamy Buffalo Chicken Sliders
12 servings What you need: 5-6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast 1 oz Ranch Dressing Mix (1 package) 12 oz buffalo wing sauce 2 Tablespoons butter 8 oz cream cheese Extra wing sauce for serving Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing for serving Lettuce for serving 24 Slider Buns What to do: Place the chicken, buffalo sauce and ranch dressing mix in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. 30 minutes before serving - Remove the chicken and shred with 2 forks or a mixer with paddle attachment. Add the 2 tbsp of butter and the cream cheese to the sauce and stir to combine. Mix the chicken back into the slow cooker. Serve the chicken on the slider buns. Serve with extra wing sauce, lettuce and the dressings. |
Mississippi Chicken
(Tami Russell) serves 10 What you need: 4-5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 1 envelope Au Jus Gravy Mix 1 envelope Ranch Dressing Mix (1 oz) 1 small jar of mild banana pepper rings (reserve juice) 8 oz cream cheese 4 Tablespoons butter 1/2 cup pepper ring juice What to do: Place chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker Sprinkle gravy and ranch mixes on top Place pepper rings around chicken Top with cream cheese and butter Pour 1/2 cup pepper ring juice around outside Cook on low for 4-5 hours (chicken should be 165F) Remove chicken Stir juices until cream cheese is melted. Shred chicken with two forks and return to crockpot. Serve on buns, over mashed potatoes or on its own. |
Shredded Pepper Ring Beef
makes 6 sandwiches (so delicious ~ so easy) What you need 3 lb chuck roast 3 cloves garlic 1 pkg Au Jus (1 oz) 1 small jar mild banana pepper rings What to do Make 6 slits it the beef roast Put 1/2 clove garlic in each slit Place the chuck roast in a 4-5 quart slow cooker Sprinkle with Au Jus powder Pour the jar of pepper rings on top including the juice Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours Drain the juice (save) and shred beef Add some of the reserve juice to beef if you feel it is at all dry. |
Butter Chicken Crockpot Recipe
Serves: 4 people What you need 1 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts diced into bite sized pieces 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted 8 ounces tomato sauce 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger 2 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon garam masala 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional (see note) 1 yellow onion diced small 2 teaspoons lemon juice 1/4 cup plain yogurt 1/2 cup half and half What to do Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. In the base of the slow cooker, combine the diced chicken, onion, melted butter, tomato sauce, ginger, garlic, garam marsala, chili powder, salt, and optional black pepper. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. At the end of the cooking time, stir in the lemon juice, yogurt, and half and half. The sauce will reduce but still be quite saucy. Serve with rice and naan.
